That's why 0 was elected. We have nothing to worry about.

I think Obummer ought to be the one to welcome them home. With any luck he'll catch a case of it himself and save us all the trouble of having to put up with the sorry POS.

Maybe they want the virus to be among familiar surroundings?

I sure do hope there is a clinically justified reason for doing this vs being a hail mary, "We felt like we had to do something because we just felt so bad about them becoming infected...".

Maybe a world class hospital can learn something useful by having them there???

That's my guess. There are world-class isolation units here in the US, and none in west Africa. There are world-class virology labs here in the US, and none in west Africa.

Our people want/need to get hands on this disease in a controlled environment.

AMEN! The sooner we get a handle on this, the better. There is a lot to be learned about how this beast works!

Lets all hope we don't get a real close look at how it works. The CDC has had a few missteps recently. If this sucker gets lose it won't be like anything we have ever seen before. Just A thought but it might be a good time to shut off the flow of potential carriers across the southern border. Consider one deliberately infected terrorist over the border and into a major city.

So why not stop all travel to and from infected nations.

And as for the infected Americans, they are your countrymen and you look after your own as it is a part of the membership benefits for being in the citizen club.

Your CDC and other associated facilities have been handling Ebola and other diseases of the same family for years. They have a degree of expertise which is just not availble in Africa..
