Gets great reviews...any real world experience that you care to share? Thinking about acquiring one.

I'm on my third one. First two couldn't keep a mag inside 6" at 10 yards. This third one keeps them pretty tight. Not sure what the difference is amongst them, but its a keeper.

I like the ergos - just seems to fit my hand well. Snappy, but not unmanageable. Small package with lots of firepower and 10 rounds of 45ACP.

Not light to carry. Slide is heavy, balances out when loaded - but heavy package - invest in good leather.

Runs like a Glock - never had a FTF (fire or feed), stovepipe, FTE, nothing - they just run.

If I could only pick one to carry - it would be a 30S.

Were all yours Austrian-made or American-made?

not a SF but I've carried a 30 for a long time now (like 8-9 years ) no problems , some don't like them cause they are thicker than their hands can handle. and SF ain't for slim frame . I bet the first 2 are just fine . OOPS I re reed OP it was just an S model. is that the 30 in breed with the 36 ? but 6" at 10 yards , ain't the guns sorry I slap the chit out of 5" gongs at 25 yards with most nay hand gun

Picked up a 30S as I didn't have a Glock 45 of any sort. Like it fine (shoots like all the other Glocks) but the mag floorplate seems to pinch my finger regularly. I don't have this issue with the other Glocks (19, 32, 26, 17, 34, 20) but that fat floorplate on this model is a bit annoying. Minor concern if you could even call it that. Soon this one will get upgraded sights and go into the carry rotation. It's a nice package for 10 rounds of .45 ACP.

I got one when they first came out. Pistol would exhibit FTF's with Speer Gold Dot 230's. Dealer sent it back to Glock, who returned it within two weeks. Works fine now. Don't know what they did. This was apparently not an uncommon issue with some early production guns.

Wow, what are you comparing it to? It weighs .18 ounce more than a G19 loaded. If it's that important, you can save about 7/10 ounce for every round you download it.
