I'm on my third 7 Mag but this is the first I've loaded for. Accuracy wise I have some great loads with 120gr. TTSX, 140gr. Accubond,140gr. BT and I am working with 162gr. SST's right now. Powders that I'm working with has been H1000, Imr7828, R22, and imr4350. Until I can get a chrono I'll hold off on posting my loads. Most are above book but have proven safe in my rifle and a few others.

One that I know is safe. Min. book
52gr. Imr4064 under a Rem 140gr. Psp kissed and lit by a Rem 9 1/2. Light recoil and accurate as all get out.

Anyway 7's are fun and a lot of us here have one or a few. So let's hear what your running.

I worked up a standard load of 65gn with the 4350's using bullets between the 145gn LRX, 150gn NBT and PART, 154gn Hornady SP and SST and all shot under an inch with the same die setting which was set for an OAL of 3,282" with the LRX and the others fell where they were for the same die setting.

It was an experiment to see if the load was compatible as I had all of the above bullets, but they all shot under the inch from my model 70. There was some variance in POI however.

160 accubonds, IMR 7828 and federal 215's is my go to hunting load.

A little over book max and the groups are nice and tight.

162 A-max and btsp interlocks over a stiff charge of RL25, CCI 250's and R-P brass.. Extremely accurate and run about 3,050 fps..

Pretty cool experiment John. Sounds like you have a damn fine model 70 there. I don't think mine is quite as forgiving. I'd hang onto that one..

69.5grs Reloader-22 with 140-150gr
66.0-67.0 grs of Reloader-22 with 160gr
65.3gr IMR4350 with 140-150gr
63.5gr IMR4350 with 160gr
This is for my rifles.Remember every rifle is different.I have one 7mag with a 24"Douglas barrel that I load one grain less than my 26" Remington factory barrel to get about the same velocity.

my loads in a Rem 700 are 65.0g of R#22,
cci 250's,
bullet jammed .003,
tad over 3000,
bug hole groups in Rem brass

Another,load:

71.0g of Retumbo
fed 215
Rem brass
162
3130 fps

If you have trouble with the 162g A max, play with the seating depth. I have one that loves a kiss, another that loves to jump 0.040. Lots of guys give up on the A max due to bullet being particular on how it likes the seating depth in that particular Gun.

A max's have less bearing surface than the 160g Sierra or the 160g Accubond and it does have an effect on pressure.

Moly and wax will do away with vertical at longer ranges, take that to the bank as the standard deviation will drop to single digits.

There are lots of good loads for the 7 mag. If you have a 26-inch barrel (and maybe even the 24, but I don't know)try reloder 33 powder with the heavy bullets. 75 grains (75.5 is max) got me 3025 fps with 175s and 3124 with the 160 Part. All shot half inch-ish. I think that powder is overlooked for the 7 mag. My gun shop has gobs of it, as very few shoot the big 338s and most do not realize how great it is in a long-barreled 7.
