Yeah, one can find Nosler and Norma brass selling for Wby prices. Kinda takes the incentive out of forming Wby cases from conventional brass.

Oh well, it seemed like a good idea at the time.

I've heard it's OK, don't have a 7 Wby. Mine is a 7RM and Rem brass is OK. It and W/W seem scarce and hard to find.

My concern is when it's available again, it may be priced more like Nosler and Norma, not the old Rem/Win prices we were used to.

Hope I'm wrong.

Oeh, I did this for my 7 wea.. I think I used WW.. It was so simple.. 7 REM. brass win, rem, or fed. used to be easy to come by.. Haven't bought any for many years.. It is a bit short, so trimming was necessary with the brass I had..

Seems to be easy to get 7mm WBY brass with a R-P headstamp

Yes you could be right.. I think I went with the reformed 7mm Rem. to avoid a lot of case trimming..

I've been a 300 Wby fan and have owned one for decades, but with the bullets available today that weren't available back then, I can do anything I used to do with a 243 just as well. I really don't see the need for a magnum anything...MV doesn't hang with BC for retained velocity, so for me it's more about handy rifles and great bullets.

I think the same of the 7mm Wby.

Throttle fixes everything. If it doesn't fix the problem, it’ll end the suspense.

Nope 778 yards. Still got the bullet.

Year after that I killed a nice 5X5 Bull elk at 510 yards with the 300 Hornie SPBT at 3050 fps with IMR 7828.

Lovely five panel Lazermark Fotis.

Yes sir. I have owned over half a dozen 378's including 2 customs. I have been shooting them since 1992,
Personally for me Stick pass the 250 TTSX at 3200 fps.
No pretend and no imagination when it comes to my 378's.

Soon to start messing with my 375 VM2
350 at 3400 fps or if you want to go to 3k supersonic
414 GS custom (1.2 BC) at 3100 plus fps
Case capacity is 188 gr

If you shot 1% of what you profess volume wise,it'd mitigate 99% of the stupid schit you say.

Funny how it actually works and I mean FUNNY!.................

Thanks buddy! Always nice to read your input. And all of this why? Because ONCE we disagreed on the Montana rifle. You like it I do not!

From that point forward you knew everything about me, all I have done, all the animals I shot, and the # of rounds I shoot yearly, my experience with Weatherbies, LR shooting and et.

Bravo!
