Nice pictures and thanks for sharing.
I would like to advance my interest in photography as well and have been trying to determine what camera would suit my needs. One that is suitable to take photo's of opportunity outdoors or around home with family and friends under a variety of light conditions.
I am going to take a closer look at the Cannon.

Nice pics and nice stripes. You sure do have that engine mounted high on that jack plate...is it a tunnel hull or something? Or just a long shaft?
