but not before I pik'em!!! It was looking grim this year with record rain .....and fall is off to a start> yellow plants and leaves .... but my berry's have just started to drop blush regular red and some golden ones of great size ! imo... [Linked Image]

my blackberries were so overgrown that i could hardly pick them last year. it was maddening to be able to see a massive cluster but not be able to get at them without suffering lacerations all over. i mowed them all down this spring and thought i killed them but they are growing back nicely now. but no berries for me this year. next year oughtta be the mother load though.

My Black Berry's are in full swing right now.
I'm about sick of em and the neighbors all have their own bushes so they'll just dry up at this point.

I'd learn how to can em but I really don't eat jam, pie's, or hardly any sweets for that matter.

Hate to see em go to waste though,,,, anyone know where I can buy a cheap Bear?
