It is funny - many guys will thumb their nose at Alaskas Mountains, talking height above sealevel.
Then steepness, unsure footing, rain, sleet, snow in August and Devilsclub paint a different picture, when walking them.

From my very limited experience, I would say Alaska's terrain is second to none in terms of ruggedness, beauty or any other measure of mountains- I am impressed.
