Hello to everyone on the Campfire. I have a couple of vintage scopes I have that I would like to sell.

I have purchased several things here; but I haven't sold anything; I hope you will bare with me.

To insure good transactions, I will outline my conditions of sale are as follows:
1) First "I'll take it" by PM (with 100% agreed price etc) to me will get the item
2) Actual Shipping will be added to the price.
3) Payment by USPS money order
4) Buyer to contact me by pm/email/phone within 48 hrs to confirm purchase and exchange information
5) Item will ship as soon as I receive the money order.
6) I will do my very best to accurately describe the item, and provide photos; if the buyer is not satisfied all I ask is pay return shipping and send it back; I will refund the purchase price.
7) If you want additional photos please provide and email address and I will do my best.

First is a Lyman Alaskan 2.5X SN 31533 with a post retical. Scope is in good condition, bluing wear on bell, caps, and objective. Lenses seem to be in good shape and adjustments seem to track fine (I did not mount and shoot this; just secured it and watched the cross-hair movement while adjusting). I also have rings and bases that were on a Savage 99; though I don't think the bases are correct for a 99. I cannot find a brand on these, though I suspect they are Redfield. Rings are a vertically split design with a dovetail front ring. I want to sell the scope and rings as a set and will include the bases as part of the deal.

I am asking $300 for the scope and rings.

Second I have a weaver K4 60-B ElPaso with cross-hair retical. Also good condition minor bluing wear. Again the adjustments seem to track OK. This scope also came off a Savage 99 I purchased. Please note the color of this scope is slightly darker than shown in the photos.

I am asking $45 for this scope.

Is the Alaskan a single post, or a post and crosshair?

It is as single post no horizontal retical. Post tapers slightly from bottom to top; top is squared off not pointed.

I don't have anything to put it on.

The rings & bases are vintage Tilden's, made in Denver, CO back in the day & are of high quality I.M.H.O.

I appreciate the information; that makes sense as on one base there is writing that could be Denver, CO.

Also, I AM located in Northern CO and bought the used rifle/ scope here as well.

If anyone has interest in the rings and bases separate let me know.
