Hey guys, was wondering what Protektor rear bag is preferred, The deluxe protector rear bag or the Dr. Bags. I am using a Sinclair Benchrest Lightweight front rest.

This will be used for hunting rifles, mostly Mcmillan Classic and Sako Hunter swirls.

Also what size ears should I get the bunny ears (short) or rabbit ears (medium height). Will a cheekpiece be a problem with the medium height ears?

Also, Cordura material or leather?

anyone use a rear bag and have an opinion? thanks guys

I use a rear bag (bunny ears type). It's not leather, but the next one will be. The ears on this one are getting pretty ragged looking. I just leave the bags on the bench 24/7, and even though they are under a roof they are open to weather.

I picked up the Protektor Model #13A Rabbit Ear Rear Bag w/ Hard Bottom and have been very pleased with it. After using it at the range a half dozen times or so, if I was ordering one today, I'd get the same model again. Hope this helps.

I also have the protector 13a and so does SLG. Love it. Would definitely buy again.
