Santa Barbra Mauser action,Paul Marqart (sp?) barrel,Weaver 2.5x Scope and Redfield bases/rings. Taking it bear hunting this fall. Using a 250 gr Hawk bullet,53.0 grs of Var-Get,CCI 200 primer for 2373 fps. Last edited by elkhunternm; 08/30/14. Saturday morning we stopped by Ken Howell's house to visit with him. When I walked in, he told me to go look at something in the bedroom...So I did and there was the rifle...Ken told me to pick it up...and I did. Now, my wife heard Ken Howell say that the rifle belongs to a Ken in Mesquite, but didn't say anything thinking she heard him wrong. We went back to the living room and visited. Ken told me that is was mine. I put it by the front door and visited with him. Ken kept reminding me that it was by the door and not to forget it. This happened the day before Mother's Day.
