Plan your work, work your plan and one can enjoy his inexpensive firearms. One of the few addictions that can be self financing.

I waited 'til now to explore this thread because I knew in my heart that the resident troll would be spewing his vitriol, and I was right. Sigh.

I thought a forum was by definition a collegial exchange of information. I guess I was mistaken.

Hitting the range today with an H&R Handi in 44MAG. Irons on it.

I got two deer with it last year, but it had a scope (4x Weaver) on it. This year it goes sans scope.

Whenever I see that middle pix I can't help but think of an old joke of which I've heard several variants........

A guy goes hunting and sees a huge bear. He takes aim and squeezes the trigger, but misses. The bear approaches the hunter, grabs him and fcuks him before letting him go. But the hunter vows revenge. He goes out to the same spot the next day, sees the same bear, takes aim and fires. Again, he misses and the bear really wears him out this time. Takes a week or so to recover. So to be sure, the hunter borrows a friends rifle and heads back out . He heads out to his favourite spot and sees the bear again. He gets the bear in his sights, shoots and misses. So the bear comes up and grabs the hunter and sez' You didnt come here to hunt, did you?

B,
looks like that bear is givin' you an "earfull"
