Closer than 3 thou or less, or a wide range of lengths, with some over, I'll do it, just to get them all consistent again.

Usually, I do a check sample and just run the batch for sizing only through the progressive (darn it, SEQUENTIAL) press, trim the whole batch on the drill press with the same setup, then unscrew the sizer and rip them out, prime fill seat.
And the trim cycle (maybe the third to fifth cycle through the batch depending) is a good time to give the deprimed/sized/trimmed cases a good cleaning including the primer pockets and a nice QC check.
