Do you resize your cases before or after you trim them..

Before.

Before as the resizing can stretch the neck (slightly) as the expander ball pulls out of the case.

Before

Cases can grow in resizing and as such should be trimmed after resizing to assure consistent and correct length.

I trim after sizing--except when loading on a progressive press. In that instance I find out how much case length increases with sizing, then trim enough so they won't be over-length after sizing.

AFTER.

Measure ten cases, see if any need trimming, or if there is variation.
Closer than 3 thou or less, or a wide range of lengths, with some over, I'll do it, just to get them all consistent again.

Usually, I do a check sample and just run the batch for sizing only through the progressive (darn it, SEQUENTIAL) press, trim the whole batch on the drill press with the same setup, then unscrew the sizer and rip them out, prime fill seat.

And the trim cycle (maybe the third to fifth cycle through the batch depending) is a good time to give the deprimed/sized/trimmed cases a good cleaning including the primer pockets and a nice QC check.
