Are they going to team up?

Since Friday, Mallott and Walker and their aides and supporters have been in serious negotiations about creating a single ticket and asking their lieutenant governor running mates to resign. Under most versions reported about a deal, the two would run as independents, with Walker the governor candidate and Mallott for lieutenant governor.

That doesn't look like a foolish pairing for a serious run.....quite the contrary - even if I can't say I'd be behind it.

Polling has it like this:

Parnell 45%
Walker 25%
Mallott 20%

Unless something changes, Parnell has a 90%+ chance of re-election.

I could probably live with Walker, but I won't vote for a democrap regardless of what they repackage themselves as.

I'm thinking.....

I like Walker, don't like Parnell, and as a 'crap goes, Mallott isn't all that chitty.

If Walker/Mallot team up, I'm pretty sure they would take it. Demographics again. Mallot is Native, so that's 20% of the vote right there. Like the black folk, they pretty much vote en-mass for Dems, no matter the issues or candidates. W/M then only need about 30% of the rest. And every 'crap will vote against Parnell. I might too...

Walker's a job killing yes on 1 guy. Parnell is the only politician (besides Frank Murkowski) who EVER mentioned or championed reversing the decline in oil production.
