I have a full box but don't know what to do with them. I have IMR 4350 & Varget powder. Don't need any 300 WinMag ammo, already have about 5 boxes. Would my Savage 110 30-06 or Schultz & Larsen 30-06 work for a deer load out of these bullet and powders. In the past I only loaded Sierra Gameking & IMR 4350. This combo worked out fine. Any info. will be a plus. Thanks All

4350 under that pill works quite well in the 06.

I have had good results with 59 gr of IMR-4350 and 150 Accubonds in the .30-06. Of course you should work up to this load.

Shot several deer with this load and most were DRT.

I'll second the 59 grains of IMR4350 with the 150 Accubond. Unless you can stuff more IMR4350 in the case (maybe 0.2 or 0.3 grains?), in which case I would proceed without hesitation. I don't think you can stuff enough IMR4350 in a 30-06 case to run into pressure problems. I have to use a drop tube to get 59.2 grains in mine.

The best 5-shot 30-06 group I've shot was with that combo. Kills things fine also.

Or, you could send the box to me, and I guess I would be kind enough to take the worry off your hands. grin

I found some notes I wrote down and it was 56 grains with the Sierra GK. Also some compressed loads but didn't care much for the crunching sound of powder. I do have some 300 WIN MAG W-W super brass to sell, if anybody needs some. About 50 new and 25 once fired. Thanks again for the info and I think I'll stuff some full and give em a try.

I'd happily load the Varget and save the 4350 for heavier bullets in the 30-06.

I'd like to find a load the Schultz & Larsen likes. It has a 26 inch tube and 1 in 10 inch twist. From what I have read, it gets better accuracy with pressure on the comfortable side.

Not an Accubond, but my wife killed a nice young bull moose with a 150 TSX Barnes out of a 30-06 with 47 grains of H4895 -- so a mildish kind of load that shot sub inch Bull dropped in his tracks at 60 yards -- DRT -- complete pass through. Bet those accubonds would do as well.
