That Les Baer Commanche is the best Commander made, IMO.
You can spend a lot more money for a Wilson, a Nighthawk, or Ed Brown Custom, but I personally don't think you can get a better gun for the money !

Baer also makes the Stinger, which is their version of the CCO (Commander slide on an officer's frame).

As are Wilson, & besides, they all have bull barrels without a bushing...........none of the bushing-less guns qualify, IMO.
On the high-end side, Guncrafters, Christensen Arms, & Nighthawk all make true 4.25", bushing-barrelled LWT guns.
MM Going to show my ignorance here. What is sub-par about a bushing-less gun as long as it is accurate? ..simple word...balance. The bullbarrel makes a nice light in the hand Commander muzzle heavy... Although all my Commanders are Colts, I have shot huntsman's S&W and a lot of others and can only say find the one that floats your boat and buy it... Bob
