"A "K1B-C" - Stainless #1B with Circassian Wood in .26 Nosler would be an awfully neat Western hunting rifle. And a nice addition to my collection of #1's"

Mine will be a 26" barrel option for the 1-As.

I asked him for an RSI in 6.5 M-S a couple of years ago. Hope he's paying more attention to you than he is to me.

Mine was a classics line of 77 rifles. Swede, bob, 7x57 etc

Mine was left hand 77/22s. Not holdin my breath.

I would take one of those immediately.

Don't know how many of you went to the website and read CEO Mike Fifers' opening statement, but I couldn't agree more.

Many times you don't have a good alternative to buying an import, but sometimes you do, so please buy American whenever you can.

Bring back the #3 in .30-40, .303, and create a new cartridge using .416 bullets in the .45-70 case.

Made the same request this year and last year. Guess they're to busy slapping together plastic stocked guns for the box stores.

Simple solution. Buy an old red pad (back when the wood was not firewood grade), send it to SSK and you can get anything you want up to 600 Nitro.

Interesting that some people expect Ruger to be their own custom gun maker, but never whine about Savage not bringing back the 99 (a piece of cake with investment casting and CNC), Remington, Savage and Winchester not making a 505 Gibbs or a 22 Hornet.

The market drives what they all build, not some evil group sitting in a dark room spending their time frustrating the 1/10th of 1% of folks who:
a) Even bother with No. 1s
b) Want obscure calibers that really are not ballistic duplicates of popular calibers.

What will a 303 Brit. or 30-40 do that a 30-06 won't ? So now the market is further narrowed to the guys who have to have one of everything, like the Remington 700 Classic collectors.

All my No.1s are red pads that were made that way or I found a great red pad stock to put on (450/400 Jeffery).

I really doubt Ruger is going to stop building some of the horrible guns they now do, (scout rifles and guide gun) to tool up to build rifles like they did when Bill was alive.

Great old No. 1s are out there. Haunt the internet for the small dealers who specialize in used high grade guns. With the Obama depression, there are lots of bargains out there.

Any excellent engraver can turn a 1a 7x57 into a 275 Rigby.........

I think this gentleman has everything desired except that new silly 26 Nosler.

Prices are fair and even a few red pads. Looking hard @ that 06 red pad for a rebore to 375 Whelen.
