I have a ton of old photos that need to be scanned, categorized and given to family members. So, I am in need of a scanner that will work with Windows 7. Any ideas? Don't feel like spending over 200.
Many thanks.

I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for, but I have a scanner that does slides and photos. It is called the Image Box Plus Film and Photo Scanner. It works pretty good and also removes dust etc. okay! I got it from Costco for just over $100.00 a few years ago. I have noticed that there are quite a few other brands available also. I bought this one because of the photo capability although I had mostly slides to copy. I am more than satisfied! I use Windows 7 also.

If you have a ton of slides, an option may be ScanCafe rather than spending hours and days of your time. http://www.scancafe.com/

Many thanks. I like my Epson V500. Inexpensive and it does a great job on prints, slides and negatives.
