Does anyone have experience shooting Elk with these in the 150 grain version? I look forward to hearing your experiences.

I shot two 5x5 bulls with the 150 SBs out of my 270. I shot two cow elk with 130 NPs. They worked for me.
Also used 308 with 180 SB and 284 with 160NP. All worked.
SBs work well, NPs work a little better.

.270's don't work on elk!

Don't know about that one but the 7mm 140 was pretty explosive at 7RM velocities. If they would make the solid base with the current heavy jackets of the BT game loads they would be one of the best conventional bullets around. Might section one and if it is the thin un-tapered jacket then I would not be inclined to use them on Elk. No doubt it would work it is just that there are better choices especially for short range or angling shots.

Thanks for the input. I like partitions, but I found several of these, cheap, thought I might try them out.
