After many years of looking at they eye candy from others, last year, I put in my order with Mr. Ingram. He was willing to make changes for me to his standard design for the fixed blade Sodbuster. Larger handle, longer and thicker, and in my favorite handle material, Bocote Wood. He sent me this picture yesterday, the knife is inbound. I just can't wait!!

Very nice. Excellent selection of wood. Is that a modified standard Ingram sheathe? Maybe another picture. How long is blade and handle?

the blade is standard size, the handle is what Gene enlarged for me from the normal pattern. The sheath is for cross draw carry, horizontal. When it comes in, I'll put up a picture of the sheath.

Love Genes knives, i'm still using the # 1 semi I bought from him several years ago. Have skinned 3 moose and a dall ram with it, it's probably the best knife I have ever owned.
Congrats on the new blade.
That's ok, I'll ass shoot a dink.

Very nice all the way around, and he put those 'special touches' in it just for you. Makes it even nicer.

The postman thinks I was stalking him today, as I was sitting on the curb when he pulled up. Gene has delivered FAR more than I asked of him. Not only is the blade flawless, and razor sharp, but the handle is simply to die for. Extra sized, and in fact on the card, Gene called it the "Big Guy Sodbuster". The knife is 8 inches over all, the handle is 4 1/2 inches long, and right at 3/4 inch thick. Just perfect for my fat hands.

Beautiful knife! I'm not familiar with the wood-it is great looking. Mr. Ingram does wonderful work and I know what you mean about "stalking the mailman".
