Just got this email from a friend so I asked him if I could share it with you Congrats to the ladies! !!! "Gun was unbelievable Thanks cody !!!! Just got home from a great hunt in the book cliffs. Had the wife, son, and some great friends to share this great hunt. We saw some great bulls some bigger and a lot smaller. It was to good to pass up for her first bull. My 9 year old was there for the 717 yard shot and and watched the bull drop with the first and only shot. Thanks to all that helped with the pack out. This hunt with my family and friends I will never forget!!! I was very impressed with the shot until My Buddies wife hammered this bull the next morning at 1064 yards. Now a one mile bull shot would be a bit on the ethical side of arguing wouldn't it. If you're that Good then you better video that shot for us! My 9 year old daughter wants a bow but I have always been intimidated by bow hunting myself, can't really say why just have. If she picks it up and sticks with it I will have no choice but to pick it up with her. That could be a great thing for both of us. Of course the 7 year old wants to do everything her sister does so this could get spend for me, lol.

(shrug) A good "hunter" and a good "shooter" aren't necessarily one and the same. A good hunter has no need to make 1000 yard or 1 mile shots. Therefore, the ethics of distance and where the ethical line is drawn is irrelevant to a hunter.
