Things are winding down now.This is the last weekend of firearms season and then muzzleloader comes in for 9 days.Im going on vacation the 13th so my season will be ending early.
Expecting good things this weekend

2 doe a 6 pt and another deer skirting thicket couldn't tell what it was

Pouring rain this morning but I went any ways,saw 1 doe
this afternoon rain stopped saw 4 doe and a 4pt

A couple doe this morning but NE wind was just wrong got winded didn't hunt this afternoon so that's a wrap on gun season

Only able to get out twice with the muzzleloader,yesterday afternoon was my last hunt of the year saw 2 doe.Can't complain I had a great season, took a nice buck with the bow as well as a couple doe with the bow and pistol.Season runs till Tues day but I leave for a week in Costa Rica tomorrow at 6 AM. 25 degrees here and a foot of snow,but I guess I suffer 89 degrees sun and some Billfishing instead of hunting. Yup marlin fishing is like hunting gotta put your hours in but when it happens it worth all the hours. 300 lb blue hit the teaser late in the day did the bait and switch and he hammered the big cut bait. 35 minutes and we tagged and released him
