The .270 Winchester...the 7x57's taller, sexier little sister.

The 270 is what the 7 x 57 always wanted to be, but couldn't quite stack up. Kinda like comparing a pro team to a high school team. laugh

They've probably never been fired and only dropped once, so you can get some good deals on them.

Doubtful, being French they are scared of recoil. So most likely they are carrying .223AI's and with a 1-7" twist.

The 270 was never a military cartridge,so it can't be that.

The 7x57....OTOH....was.

So, it COULD be that...Mmm. sick smile

How do they say?....(my French is rusty)......Les 7x57 est tres bien!

Or as Maurice Chevalier would have said...."Thank Heaven For Leetle Girls".

Those would be "Special" forces. They can use .270s in Frogland.

Special as in "Special" olympics, or " Isn't that special?"

So I've been thinking about getting a .270... whistle

Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.

The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.

Will Munny: We all got it coming, kid.
