There's a nice 1939 M75 Target rifle in 22LR with the original box on GB. Looks nice. Starting at $1395. I'm not a Target rifle expert but it looks pretty clean and complete.

That old M75 was a second rate gun back then. Some juniors used them. Just look at it's skinny, flimsy action. That scope is a joke.

We started with the M52B and later models. Now the Anschutz dominates. Even a CZ would be a far better value.

About the biggest pitfall with the M/75 is that it has the same trigger as the M/69 and other plinker type Winichesters. It is not in any stretch of the imagination a target grade trigger. The sidemounted scope takes the M/75 depicted out of the $1395.00 price range, at best it might bring about half that. The stock looks as if it has been refinished, it's lighter in color and glossier than original.

Maybe that's why it's so pristine. It's owner realized that it was a crap rifle. lol.

And it's got that big yellow thing stuck in the trigger guard.

I don't know if I would consider a Model 75 a crap rifle, my 1941 is a nice accurate rifle, not up to 52 standards but not bad.
The one in the auction is way overpriced, the side mount scope kills any collector value, it's a 600.00 rifle at best and that might be high.
My 1941,
