Even at your reduced asking price, which is very fair for this rifle, I'm hesitant for the following reasons:

1) It's not your gun, it's your buddies, so you don't know if this Kimber is a goat or not, and Kimber Montana's can be finicky some are tack drivers, and some are boat paddles requiring a lot of tweaking to get them to shoot well, if ever.
2) You're not posting a round count on how much use the gun has seen.
3) It's always helpful on a high-end rifle like this to post pics of targets to demonstrate it's accuracy and consistency or at least what it's favorite load is
4) The pics you posted are not very good, and not very many...

I'm not judging or criticizing, but you asked the question given what you know about the gun, and have shared on this listing so far with us, you leave too many unknowns about the weapon IMHO, hope this feedback was helpful After all, you asked the question.

This is not a "weapon". It is a sporting firearm.

Yes, your asking too much.. Not a highly sought after caliber in a Montana either. $850 is the most I'd pay for that cartridge in the Montana. Just my 2cents.

I'd buy this rifle at nine and a quarter shipped in a flash if I needed it, been trying to convince myself of just that.

I'd like to have it but it's just not a caliber I use, though I've got a nice Winchester mod 70 Classic Stainless. And I like Montanas. I've given it much thought but if I can't get it done with a 30-06 I'll use a 338 WM. Nice gun though. Can't believe it's still here. I don't think it's so much a matter of price as it is the economy. Good luck with your sale.
