What bullet powder combo are you using? Most of my hunting will be 100-300 yards on medium sized whitetails. Was thinking about the barnes ttsx and H4381 powder. Any reccomendations?

I've been shooting 43.5gr of IMR-4350 with 100gr Hornady and Noslers for the last 30yrs.I also use this load for 105gr Speers.I've used this load for several 6mm and each one shot it really well.

I've loaded 100 gr Hornady spitzers and IMR 4350 for 2 different rifles, one liked 43.8 gr (I think) and the other likes 41 grains.

I killed many caribou with a 100 Sierra Pro-hunter ahead of 46 grains of H4831; it was a fine shooting load for my M788 6mm

still no love besides me for good old 4064??

guess I am old school and uncool...

hey even sorta rhymes....

maybe that is why I am able to find it on the shelves, when every one else is complaining about not being able to find powder... whistle

I worked up this load for a friend's 6mm Rem. 100 gr partition with RL-17 was stunningly accurate and fast! Five shots on each target different days. After it was sighted in my friend's daughter shot ragged holes at 100 yds too.

95 NBT and the Hornady 100 BTSP have never let me down in the 6mm.

I tried the 90 Speer on a couple Texas does, didnt like it too well. Had one come apart, the core made it out but the jacket didnt.

I did use the 90 on a couple of big feral dogs out of a 243 at about 35 yards, the damage was unreal.

That looks like a winner right there! A 95-100gr PT would probably be how I rolled as well. The speed is just icing on the cake, and I'd be happy with 3,100-3,200fps.

That is smoking fast for the Rem. Heck, that's the speeds I get from a 26" 6-06 with much slower burners.

Worked up a couple loads a while back for my brother's M77 6Rem with the 90NABs over R17 and Hunter. Both shot really well and gave around 3150fps. We went with R17 and he's been pleased on WTs thus far.
