But I just now, thirty five years after becoming a Christian, swiped a warm cookie from the pan while my wife had her back turned. She caught me and I may be in more trouble than I was back then.
So this time I stole with premeditation and then ate it all without sharing. I think that is bad enough I should ban myself. the penitence would be directly related to the type of cookie which you did not describe. Me on the other hand, have been known at 2 in the morning to get in the freezer to get at the fresh oatmeal raisin cookies which i remove to a safer place hoping i would not be noticed. The dogs usually give me away.

A major red flag for me is anyone who feels the need to support his character with a cross.
There has been plenty of warning to keep me away from any deals with him anyway.
What I dislike even more is those who take such great delight in continuing to beat him down.
