Perry, while I agree with that statement I can tell you that Mike know BBQ!! And he sure knows how to cook on the BGE. We have to get these cow boys off the hoof and onto the pig!!

Wow!! I logged in to the Fire this morning and this was the first thing I saw. Many thanks for the well wishes everyone (you too Hoop) ! I received the invitation to join Team Dizzy Pig in April, so needless to say it's been a long summer waiting for this. To be honest I'm a little nervous and feel like a rookie quarterback about to start in the Super Bowl. I head down to KC tomorrow to meet up with Chris and the rest of the guys and start prepping for the invitational on Friday and Saturday. After turn in on Saturday we start prepping for the open which turns in Sunday at noon. I already know I'll be the "overnight guy" Saturday so I'm sure come Sunday I'll be beat. I'll post photos (hopefully of trophies) when I get back home on Monday. Thanks again everyone! Mike

I'll be down there on Friday night. I've got a good friend who has a small time italian sausage company (Caldarello Italian Sausage) that about 5 teams will be using for the competition. Probably be running around with him and I'll see if I can find ya.
