Does anyone subscribe? How does it compare to the other advertising hunting mags?

I caught an episode on Sunday (bear and moose hunting in Idaho) seems interesting. Need to see more episodes before passing judgement.

I subscribed to elk hunter 5 weeks ago via internet and paid with a credit card and no magazine so far. I thought I'd at least get the last issue ASAP.

Like you I thought I'd give it a try but I'm kinda pissed.

I have subscribed to both for 2 years. I enjoy them and find them to be superior to the others.

Stab them in the taint, you can't put a tourniquet on that.

This thread prompted me to email them. I got an instant offer to send out the already released fall issue rather than waiting for the winter one.

I said heck yeah! So now it should be here within a week.

This looks good. I might try it out. For you guys who subscribe, is one magazine (elk or western hunter) better than the other or do you recommend them both?

...thanks for sharing it, BTW

Out of the 13 or so hunting/rifle magazines that I subscribe to they are as good as any and much better than most.

Both are very enjoyable to read and contain great reviews.
