A grand went to ski passes for the family and the rest is going to the 35 Whelen build. Might have a little left over for reloading components.

Going to order a Stone Glacier Sky 7400 today. The rest I'll just waste on bills!

I'm buying 2 sets of Superclamps for our sled trailer and the rest we're going to waste on Maui in February.
That's ok, I'll ass shoot a dink.

Let me be the voice of reason here.
Consider a closed end mutual fund, paying around 8%. In 20 years, your pfd will be worth $8781. Well, I tried....(grin)

I hear ya Calvin but I'm on the back side of that investment and enjoying the profits in my old age. So I'll pay Fairbanks Memorial Hospital $400 for recent cataract surgery and have enough left for a new up-scale scope.
No travel for me as those planes carry too many diseases and I don't like driving the Alcan in the dark.

I was joking guys. PFD is the biggest stimulus AK has. You know it's PFD time when couches are stacked up in the grocery store.

Have always wanted to spend a PFD on a toy, but it seems something always comes up. This year, front end rebuild for the truck and new tires for the kids car, poof to my and mama's checks, the kids will go towards college fund.
Someday...

The PFDs buy lots of groceries..........lots of times for the guys who own or are employed by the by boat, sno-go, honda, car, or fuel vendors.

Our AC store has 3 shiny new Honda's sitting out front and new appliances inside. I wondered why and then remembered the PFD.

I had to laugh at the long line formed outside of AKUSA across the street from my work. There was about 30 people waiting for the doors to open, all in their pajamas and sweatpants. Pretty sure not a one of them has a job. Of course I work in Fairview so I'm not surprised.

Fairview's not that bad. My kids have improved their situational awareness and driving skills by having to watch out for drunks stumbling into oncoming traffic.

There is a reason the minimum wage career folks become afflicted with the PFD flu right about now.
