Well, I missed the first go around of 327 Federal revolvers and sure didn't want to pay the crazy prices they are now selling for so I decided that I would buy the first Single Seven that I stumbled across. I went to a local shop on a whim and they actually had a 5.5" in the display for $519. They said it just came in that morning and was set out minutes before I walked up. I really wanted a 7.5" but decided not to pass it up. The thought of missing out again was too scary. Maybe the round will catch on this time and I'm fretting for no reason, but in life choices this important, one cannot take chances. They even had stacks of 327 Federal Ammo in 85 JSP and 100 JSP so I bought one box of each. Bullets and brass for both 327 and 32 H&R are on the way. Have fired about 50 rounds through it and can't say that I'm too impressed with the accuracy but my eyes aren't what they used to be;) Now I can wait patiently for longer barrel Single Seven Hunter or 327 FM Taurus Tracker.

They are bringing out 3 barrel lengths, 4-5/8", 5-1/2" and 7-1/2" My understanding the first model to come out is the 5-1/2". I wouldn't worry you haven't missed your opportunity. If I were to guess I would say the 7-1/2" would be last. But it's a guess. They are going to bring out the hottest sellers first and historically the longest has the least demand. Of course later on that could make it the most expensive with the fewest out there. Let us know how it shoots for you.

They're definitely out there now, there is a bunch of ads on gunbroker for the 4 5/8" and 5 1/2" models. No 7 1/2" yet, but I doubt it will be too long before they show up.

I'm holding out for a 7 1/2", have a pile of American Eagle Factory ammo set aside for it.

I'm STILL waiting on my 5.5" Single Seven. Getting impatient, but refuse to pay the Gunbroker prices.

I got the call yesterday afternoon. My 4 4/8" 327 is sitting in the store waiting for me to drive over to Boise Gun Co. and pick it up.
They also have a store in Nampa which is considerably closer to me, so I asked them tp transfer it over to the closer store. I will get over to pick it up on Friday.
The timing is perfect as I loaded five hundred rounds for it on Sat and Sun.
I loaded 300 78 gr laser cast over 3 gr Universal to a COAL of 1.333 inches. They should shoot about like a 22 mag, be less expensive, and easier to obtain. I can't wait to let the grand kids try them out.

LGS had a 7 1/2" this morning but it was already spoken for. Glad I didn't wait. They also had a 4 5/8" in the display for $519.
Accuracy of initial handloads with 85 XTP HP over WSF is looking MUCH better than the Federal American Eagle JSP factory loads.

How well are your best loads shooting? Sure would be cool if Ruger brought out a Hunter Package set up for easy on and off scope or red dot mounting....

Under 4" shooting off-hand at 25yd and easily hitting a 6" gong at 60yd with a rest. Initial 25yd groups with factory loads were at least twice as big with a rest. I was a bit concerned at first.
Just loaded 50 rounds with WSF near max. I'm hoping to get time to check groups with a rest at 50 yards this week.

If people are wanting one of these I wouldn't wait a long time. On the 4-5/8" and 5-1/2" they are only producing 1000 each and on the 7-1/2" they are only doing 500.
