Took my youngest golden for a little hike along an old railroad bed that runs through some sloughs.. More for a lark than anything I picked up the old BPS 10 ga. and shoved some ammo in it.. We are hiking along, round a little bend and walk up on two flocks of geese.. Shot twice, never turned a feather.. Had we been on the ball I might have had three!! Fun to see them though....
what a surprise! at least you, your child, and the 10 ga got a little exercise. I treasure memories of hunting with my son. at age 23, in school, he has little time anymore. memories can be priceless!
