Getting ready to take the stock off a Remington 700 Long Range
7mm Magnum to do some trigger work.
Would like to know the torque specs for the stock when I get ready to put it back on.
Stock is the Bell and Carlson M40 tactical that comes standard on the 700 Long Range rifles.

Thanks

If it has the aluminum bedding block/pillars Bell & Carlson used to recommend 40 inch pounds.
I usually go 45 on the front & 40 on the rear with no issues.
Good luck,
Ted smile
