My self and my buddy Josh went up by Duluth to scout today. Just a beautiful day to be outside. Checked out a couple different spots, including two tree stands we'll be using, courtesy of T-Zone. Saw some deer, including two real close to the trail head we walk in on. It was a great day to be outside, and now I'm really pumped for deer opener. Really looking forward to hunting with T-Zone, Andy, and Pastor Josh.

The Isabella deer report is in.
I do have deer in my area. The wife and I both think the number of deer seen on camera is about average for our area, We did see more bucks than usual for the month of Sept., usually only a couple, had at least 8 different ones this time. The major difference this year is fewer fawns.

How'd those bucks look TJAY? I won't be back up for a few weeks but I'm getting antsy. Deer on not, it's deer season for God sakes and I'm going to be in the woods!!

Its deer season now Tom. Was out with daughter last night. Had doe n fawns below us in the stand. Couldn't move. It was fun. No shooting last night though. She's back at it by herself right now.
It is a silly fish that is caught twice with the same bait!

It will be a day or two before I can put any pictures up. I am still working from the camper at Lake McDougal and it is two hard to move the pictures around so I can post.
A side note. There is a skim of snow on the ground here this morning.
