Do any of you dove hunt? I know some states up north don't allow it, but it's a whole lot of fun. Over here at my blog, I give you ten things you should take with you dove hunting.

If you dove hunt, what are your must have items? I'm always looking at ways to get better at things and want to hear what you do.

Absolutely. I grew up with a bunch of friends and all of us were rabid dove hunters. 40 years ago there were a lot of grade b dairy farms around and silage fields were everywhere. Those days are gone but I still enjoy a good hot dove hunt probably better than any kind of hunting. Some people bash it but it will make you a better shotgun shot than anything I know.

LOVE IT. Nothing helps your pass shooting more. I always take two choke tubes, a light mod and a improved mod depending on how they are flying. If you like dove hunting you will like pigeon shooting too, if you haven't tried it you should. I killed my first Eurasia dove last year, we don't get many. bonus. Pigeons are fairly thick though and I whack them on a regular basis.
