Only one...8x57. Love it. Probably been the least fussy bolt rifle I've ever owned.

I shot a lot of elk with my classic .35 Whelen. Sold it after it didn't have anything more to teach me.

I looked at the pictures of the collection of Classics which are for sale. A few seem a little questionable to me. For example picture 19 does not seem to be NIB condition. Several do not seem to have the satin finish. I've owned a few and do not remember these discrepancies.

The only one I have left is a .220 Swift. This is the only Swift I've ever owned and have no plans to get rid of it.

As a personal thing I no longer think of them as a Classic if they are changed out of the factory stock or have the barrel shortened. To each his own.

I had a 243 that was a real tack driver and foolishly traded it off. Bought a 257 when they came out in '82. It just seemed like too much rifle for a sweet little 257 (long action and 24" barrel). I sold it without ever shooting it Wish I'd have bought a 280 when they came out.

The earlier Classics had a polished blue finish.

Had a slew of them at one time but am down to the .243 and .220 Swift.
