Don't care much for tang safety 99"s. Nor big bore hard kicking 99's. Nor another cal in hard to find ammo.

Then please help me understand while at a local gun show today, I could not pass up a 99 358 brush gun that was like new in the box. Numerous times I have told myself no 358's unless they were 50's guns with cut checkering. Smart buy, not one box of 358's in the whole gun show.

Men I need help! PS. Does anyone have a nice T that they had second thoughts about buying. eek grin GW

Congrats on the 358. Trading fodder for when you find that T!

What did you give it for? I'm looking at one in a gun shop for about $600.

Unless the one your looking at is total POS, sounds like the cheapest one I have ever heard of. GW
PS Needless to say I paid more than that. GW

As stated above, unless it's a total POS I'd jump on it for a shooter. It's a highly under rated cartridge and we all know how well a M99 handles.

Oldtimer,

You have a disease that has no cure. Kinda like Ebola. As stated above, if nothing else you've picked up a good piece of trading material. wink Just now shooting a 358 Win is pretty much a handloading deal. For the most part the only 358 factory ammo I've been seeing lately has been Hornady and the availability of that is pretty spotty. If you need components I've got a few cases and bullets to spare.

After seeing that photo, Ive got just as much wood in ma pants, as in the pic.

That is a spectacular, and I add, a very orderly collection, which I appreciate.

WOW, no matter how many times I see the pic.

I've got a set of nice RCBS dies in .358 that I'd sell reasonably. If you guys with a new .358 need a set, PM me.

Loggah

If my wife sees that picture it will put her over the top. She asking a lot of questions about numbers after yesterdays purchase. After seeing the picture, I am thinking maybe I am not as bad as I thought. Thanks for the support photo. GW

So, what would the "methadone" treatment be for Savage addiction? Winchesters? Red heads?
