Went this am. It was a little breezy, but decided to go and take my little buddy Dexter[aka butthead]. Saw 2 and got one. you're gonna have to boil that joker twice. The first water will be tough.
Going out for a bit in the morning. Gonna tote my old Sav 24 20/.22. Haven't exercised it in awhile.

schoolmarm, that ole savage sounds neat. Had a stevens .22/.410, back when I was a teen, but ended up selling it[mistake]. Would love to have a .22/20 ga., just don't want to pay what they are asking for them, these days. Get a chance, post a pic of that gun.

I too sold a 24 in 22/410 indeed I killed my first squirrel with it. Shoulda never sold that one....

These were grey squirrels. The one we got was a BIG one tho. I am not sure if we have fox squirrels. We have some little reddish ones, and lots of chipmunks.
