Any tricks to get the 180 gr RS Hunter to shoot accurate under 2", have tried it in 2, 06 accurate rifles with no luck so far tried, std primers and mag primers from 57 to 59 gr.
The rest of Johns loads have been great in all my rifles?

58.5 grains of Hunter and a Nosler 180 Accubond in Nosler 30-06 brass did the job for me on my Colorado Ranching for Wildlife cow elk yesterday. Two rounds, complete pass through on an slight angling shot to the left front.
Most three round groups are 5/8" to 1" off the bench. When they are larger than that I know it is my 71 year old eyes and body not working so well.
Getting "mature" isn't so much fun at this age and hiking around Colorado chasing game gets more difficult every year. I suppose need to work harder to get and stay in shape in the summer. I am pleased that I have the ability and opportunity to continue hunting.
