Seems it locks up my web connection. Barfcom is worse. Kicks me to the app store almost on every thread I want to read. Very annoying. Anyone else with this issue? Last edited by 260madman; 10/20/14. It's not so bad, most of the time. Does lock up my screen every once in a while. I don't use my Laptop or home CPU for surfing Gunbroker or the Fire anymore. My iPad is SO MUCH. faster, and I don't have to wait for all that boot up BS or other ShiiTT running in the background all the time. Just when you think it's done loading, it starts all over again. Half way thru reading a thread, it throws ya back to the top and ya gotta scroll back to where you were. After 3 times, I just leave and go to another forum.Its so annoying, I don't even want to come back.

You cannot post or read messages, but you can view pages quickly without all the BS. Just switch to another browser for posting or messaging. Called Apple support, they told us to hard cable down load from iTunes . Had to make sure everything was backed up. That has really improved it. Got a notice that 8.1 was available, will hard cable down load it today. Now you can tell I know as much about computers as I do about flying the Space Shuttle. I have upgraded to 8.0, 8.1, and 8.2. My ipad now operates slowly, regularly freezes on this site, and refuses to remember usernames and/or passwords for any site. I liked it for the convenience of quick start ups etc., but it now rests comfortably unused on the end table. bob
