Mz deer season is fast approaching and it occurred to me that I may want to develop a suitable load......
Anyone have any favorite loads using rather generic components - triple 7 and powerbelts ? Its a bit late to get anything too exotic but PBs and trip 7 is available locally. I know that combo works on deer but don't have a load for this gun yet.
Any help is appreciated.

295 Powerbelt, and 80 - 90gr loose T7. If you use over 90, you will push it too hard. 80 is better.

I have used BH 209/110 grains by volume and a 300 grain XTP in a Crush Rib sabot for a long time.

I use T/C 250 gr ShockWaves with T/C black sabots along with two 50 grain Triple 7 pellets in my Omega.

90gr of BH 209, and a 250gr Barnes T-EZ.
If you must use Powerbelts and T7. A 270gr Platinum, and 90gr of T7.
What's distance are your hunting shots?

Bwinters, I like BH209, but I have 777 (loose) I can help you get into real easy (cheap). Me and boys shoot either 250 or 300gr shockwaves.... 2 holes bleed better than 1.

Found shockwaves locally and decided that the hornady bullet is better than the power belts for producing 2 holes. Any good recipes for 250 grain shockwaves? Also think I can get buckhorn powder locally in addition to 777.
Thanks.
