Have a friend of mine wanting to sell his father-in-law's Browning 92 chambered in 44 mag. It is approximately 92-95% wood is in good shape and bluing is original and in good condition other than one little surface rust spot on the barrel up by the muzzle. What do you think it is worth?

There's usually a few listed on Gunbroker that you could easily determine value from, most I see listed look to be in nearly perfect shape. They are a beautifully made rifle.

Not seeing it, and in the condition you describe, I'd estimate $500, give or take.
