1964 Marlin 336RC Marauder in 30-30. It has the 16.5" barrel, straight grip walnut stocks. This one is an excellent shooter/hunter. The action is nice and smooth and locks up tight. Bore is in great shape. Metal has bluing loss at the carry point in front of the fore-end, upper tang, muzzle, barrel bands and magazine tube. Wood is very attractive straight grain walnut with scattered light hunting dings, the only notable mark is a tight crack on the underside of the fore-end just in front of the rear barrel band. This seems to be a common thing with Marauders as this makes the third one I have owned (out of six) with this crack. None of them have spread further back than the barrel band. The rifle still looks very nice, I just wanted to mention all blemishes. This is about the handiest 30-30 ever made and is unsurpassed as a brush gun for deer/hogs/black bears.

$695 + shipping (add another $25 if your ffl dealer will not accept shipment from a private seller)

No better guy to work with here for lever guns. We've bought and sold guns together and all were represented accurately.

I have a waffle top 336 in 35 Remington. It shoots well, has the original blue which is pretty nice. The stocks appears to have been varnished but the wood is quite good. The elevator thingy is missing from the rear sight but it shoots point of impact with the thing gone and hits too low when I replace it with a new one.

The original Marlin butt plate is still there but needs replacing because it is missing about 10% at the heel.

Be glad to show you this gun, trade with you and trade back later if your not happy.
