If the elite was shooting faster than the Obsession at same specs, the Obsession was not tuned correctly. The phoenix is a 343 IBO bow and it will make stated speed. Also the valley is just as long if not longer with equal to less holding weight. Again I'd guess due to being improperly set up. Obsession also has a safety factor built in that Elite does not. Set Elites letoff too high and the possibility of the bow locking up at full draw is a very real possibility. And unless you have a buddy and a press right there, the results are disastrous. Obsession has anti lockup stops built into their draw mods.
