Good News:

Looks like the Sergeant at Arms confronted, shot and killed the gunman at Parliament in Canada today.

Good for him! I commend him for bravery and cool thinking under fire. We could use more like him here as well. smile

Bad News:

He saved a bunch of politicians. eek

At least Canada has the balls to admit the culprit recently converted to Islam instead of saying it was work place violence..

Even more pathetic is how the Kenyan can't wait to blame "Muslim Terrorist's" when it's on Canadian soil.

Guess it's only workplace violence when it happens to one of ours.

Did the hero use one of those "nasty" and banned handguns?

No it was a legal one - something we need more of for sure

For sure he was one of us 'nasty' gun owners....and ran towards danger not away

Hats off

Not to put too fine a point on it, but without a gun, he'd have been a victim......

well, it also seems canada suffers from the same affliction that effects us here. The poor guy killed at the memorial as i understand it had a gun, but because it was a ceremonial position, no bullets for gun.

betting that changes.

They say everything happens for a reason.
For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

Saw that on the news and was thinking, "how symbolic", I'm not positive but it seems as though Skeeter is running Canada as well.

The anti-gun idiots are trying to use this, or course. Never let a good tragedy go to waste.

Of course they overlook that evil was only stopped because of a gun in the hands of a man who knew how to use it.

'Overlooked' on purpose - 'cause THAT doesn't further their radical agenda..

The identifying trait of a leftist/progressive is their total reluctance to blame evil on one of their "favored" groups and instead direct attention to any inanimate object that may have been involved.

Excellent demonstration of the abundantly obvious. Someone with a gun saves lives.

One good thing I have to say about Canadian LE is how they handled the terrorist that used his car to run over the Canadian soldiers. They shot the MF dead after rolled his car in the ditch and got out. He was unarmed except for a knife they found on the corpse.

There's been absolutely no controversy over shooting a unarmed "suspect".

Bravo Canada. That's the way it should be.

I was watching CNN when this news broke and the liberal bish Carol Costello was completely shocked when she heard he didn't have a gun. It didn't matter to the cops though. They shot a terrorist, on sight, after he killed one of their own. If this happened in the USA there'd be an investigation into the use of excessive force.
