I was fortunate to draw an antelope tag in Montana as well as a deer tag in Wyoming. Hunting with Blue Rock Outfitters near Broadus, MT, I was able to take two great animals. I took my 308EG with me and believe me folks, those guys out there thought I was a nut bringing a lever gun. Was just thinking yesterday we should be soon hearing from Billy about his Wyoming adventure.
You could hunt antelope another 30 years and not shoot a buck like that.

Good for you!! glad to see a fellow Savage loony get the goods with a fine old rifle. I like longer barrels myself so the 24" EG is perfect!!
