Nicely done, that kid will remember that morning the rest of his days. Did you catch the bullet by any chance? Curious on how it held up as I have a similar cartridge.

Pat, the bullet did not exit but I didn't find it either. I believe it stopped in the offside ribs/rear part of the shoulder? I didn't gut the elk so I didn't bother going in after the bullet. I was pretty impressed with it though.
