Despite the rain and warm temps managed to kill 4 woodcock. Saw this swamp donkey too.

Other side of the state. But Weston is a good area have hunted around there in the past.

Love hunting woodcock. Spent youth in WI chasing woodcock and ruffed grouse in Fall with a springer and fishing for brookies.

Never hunted them but have killed a few while hunting quail. Too few here to hunt them on their own, as is quail now. I did not care for the meat although my Dad liked them. miles
