Anyone want to take a stab at what this might be? I bought several hundred dirt cheap and will use them for practice unless it's a "good" bullet I could use for hunting. They weigh 100gr and are not hornady interlocks. Took one apart and there is no interlock ring.

Thanks for any ideas.

Weight them to see how close they compare. I bought a bunch of bulk .308 150's once and couldn't get them to group. Weight was as much as 15 grains difference between heaviest and lightest in the sample I weighed and sorted. Groups tightened up after sorting, but I sold of the majority of them as good fire forming bullets.

Core lokts are good news. I had a sako a7 243 ai punched and am going to work up a load for white tail. I have 95gr btips, 95gr berger classic, 100gr hornady btsp and now these core lokts. Should be fun. Thanks for the info everyone.

I will weigh them as you say and I'm sure I will get at least 100 that are close enough for hunting. Rest can be used for making ai brass!

Pretty easy to ID as I use these a lot. I think you will probably be pleasantly surprised as they have always shot well for me and I have three whitetail kills using them from 15 to 200 yds. All DRT.

I've had great luck with Core Lokts and think my batch was just a bad one. They were purchased at a gun show and had been re-packaged into heavy duty zip locks.

There is also a non cor-lokt PSP Remington.There is very little difference in the appearance .I have some old 250 shells that show the Remington bullets on the back.It looks like the only outer difference is the location of the splines on the bullet.It shows a cross section of all but the regular PSP.. .I neck shot a good sized doe a couple days ago ,and left no exit,I didn't have much angle on my shot,so the bullet didn't exit,and when I skinned it there was no hole other than the little entrance,When I started cutting the jellied up dog food off it I found a few little copper shards,and a massive void where the necks spine once was .I thought the whole bullet probably blew up, but I found the lead slug with a little of the upper jacket still attached in the tender loin..I think they are probably a good choice for a 243,or similar rifle if your smart about shot placement.
