I know it's a shot in the dark but I'm looking for an Echol's LH Legend rifle stock. I'd prefer the unfinished version(stock blank)over an already finished one but will consider all offers. I've got a LH Stainless Model 70 barreled action that needs to be dressed up and don't want to wait 6 + months to get one if somebody has one collecting dust in the corner of their closet.

Thanks,

Leftybolt

Just thought I'd give it a shot.

Ordered a LH Legend through Echol's shop 6 months ago. The anticipation got the best of me earlier this week so I gave D'Arcy a call to see if he had heard anything from McMillan as far as a time estimate.

Unfortunately, he had bad news for me. Apparently McMillan's LH Legend stock mold has had some alignment issues(whatever that means). Sounds like they've had to either repair or make a new mold for the LH stock. D'Arcy says it will be at least another 5 months wait for my stock. McMillan just finished the mold and D'Arcy is waiting for them to send him a sample stock from the new mold so he can QC it before they start manufacturing again. I'm really glad D'Arcy is so involved in the process(so it will be done right)but dang, another 5 months wait? What a let down!

I'm pretty sure I've got a 700 BDL take off you can use while waiting for your stock

it's so shiny you can comb your hair lookin into it.....well it was

close enough?

NO? I didn't think so

so while we're waiting on this stock to come in, tell us more about the build you're doing, it'll help the time pass

I'm pretty certain when we sing our anthem and mention the land of the free, the original intent didn't mean cell phones, food stamps and birth control.
