I am getting to the point that if I don't find some IMR4831 soon I am going to have to work up another load with a different powder. Pisses me off. If that happens what are the other 300 shooters using. I am shooting a 165 grain Accubond with 70 grains of powder and getting an average of 3201fps. I did try some 4350 a while back and it didn't hold the accuracy for me that the 4831 does.

RL19 and RL22 have worked real well for me in the past with 165's through 200's. The great thing about the 300 Win is a bunch of powders will work decently.
Good luck finding IMR4831.

for heavier bullets, put me down under the H1000 crowd...
150 and 165 grainers, I get by with 4064...

I like IMR4350 as well for 165/180's. H1000 is where I usually start though and lastly, RL22 has been known to do great things.
Good Shooting!

H4831sc works great with 165's, I've even played around with RL25, as others have said you won't have trouble finding a powder that will work!

Reloder 22 has worked well for me in a number of .300 WIN MAG's over the years (using 165 and 180 grain Hornady Interlock bullets).

Reloder 22 and H4831sc work real well for me with the Barnes 168 TSX and Hornady 180 BTSP Interlock.

Re22 works well with 165-180 gr bullets and will suffice until you find some more IMR4831. IME, once you move up to heavier bullets, say 200 grs and up, Re22 out-performs IMR4831.

H1000 and 180 gr SGK are printing around half an inch out of my Blaser. I4350 worked on the 165's I used to use.

I always got great performance from AR2209/H4350 in this case. IMR 4831 always pleases in a 70-80 grain case. John

Lots of powders work well in my 300 WM, but I've settled on H4831 SC for 180 grn loads. High velocity and great accuracy plus stable in wide temp ranges.
